Due to many requests I am now painting cabinets. If you have cabinets that are still in good condition and you are tired of the stained look or they are no longer in style, then painting may be an option. My preferred paint is C2 an independent paint product sold at Benjamin Moore. The most popular sheen is Satin, and can be made in any color except black.
Part of what makes painting them possible is a vacuum sander I own which is made by Festool. This virtually dust free random orbit sander can etch and smooth surfaces with no detectable dust.
The cabinets are then primed with Stix primer from Insl-x which is an acrylic urethane primer that tightly adheres to the existing finish.
All the painting work is performed at your location so there needs to be a warm dry space large enough to lay out all the cabinet doors.
